Our Mission, Vision, & Values

Issachar Church is a place where God shows up, lives are transformed, and ordinary people become world-changers.


We are a Christ-centered community rooted in the presence of Jesus. Everything we do flows from a desire to create space for people to encounter God in a real and transformative way. Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a place to belong, Issachar exists to be a welcoming and life-giving home.


Our vision is to see people awakened to who God is, strengthened in who they are, and equipped to live out their calling. We believe God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things, and we are committed to helping individuals grow in their gifts and impact the world around them—one relationship, one neighborhood, and one calling at a time.

  • The Essentials

    The Assemblies of God "Statement of Fundamental Truths" contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. CLICK HERE to see a complete list of all 16.


    Issachar finds four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ as Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

  • Salvation

    The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when man places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin and simply asks for forgiveness of sin. Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned by our own efforts.

  • The Holy Spirit

    The Holy Spirit’s presences assures us of our relationship with Christ. The Holy Spirit guides believers, and convicts people of their sin and their coming judgement. The Holy Spirit comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more Christ-like.

  • Divine Healing

    Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

  • Second Coming

    The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
