Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time are your services?

Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Prayer starts at 8:30, and coffee, donuts and snacks are out at 9:15. We also livestream the service on YouTube.

  • What about my kids?

We have a nursery and kids classes through 5th grade, led by Pastor Angela. Drop babies and toddlers at the nursery before service. Older kids worship with you first, then head to their class. A greeter will walk you through check-in, and every kids volunteer is background checked.

  • Where do I park?

Park on the street along Main or 5th, or in the gravel lot behind the church. From the street, come in through the corner door at Main and 5th, the one with the I.C. logo. From the back lot, the rear door takes you straight into the sanctuary.

  • How long do services typically last?

About 90 minutes. We start at 10:00 and usually wrap up around 11:30.

  • What should I wear?

Come as you are. Jeans and t-shirts are normal here, and you’ll fit right in.

  • Is your church accessible?

The corner door at Main and 5th has a small lip at the threshold, then a ramp into the sanctuary. The back lot is gravel, so for wheelchairs, walkers and strollers the street and corner door are usually easier. If you’d like a hand getting in, mention it when you let us know you’re coming.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

We’re an Assemblies of God church. You can read our core beliefs on our About Us page.

  • Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?

Absolutely. We livestream every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at youtube.com/@IssacharChurch/streams, and past sermons are there anytime.

  • Can I talk to a pastor?

Of course. Grab Pastor Josh after service, email josh@issacharchurch.com, or call 317-758-1998.
